This revolutionary by its form and content café is located at a place where an old Soviet grocery store has used to be.
The location reflects the main idea of this café: Ukrainians combine in their lifestyle the mix of their Soviet past and European present. Cuisine preferences and attitude to gastronomic culture have been formed by different epochs and different events of the country life and are reflected in this cafe.
One of the principal architectural solutions is harmonious union of contemporary design with restored fragments of the Soviet deli. This combination helped to create comfortable atmosphere and bright emotions.
Original mint tiles on the walls since the Soviet Union times are mixed with Ukrainian embroidery and metal structures in style of the Eiffel Tower.
There are paintings of Eugenia Gapchinska, the famous Ukrainian artist, on the walls. The painter loves this place and visits it almost every day. So you can meet her here enjoying her lunch.
Light wooden tables and chairs produced by Ukrainian designers make this interior minimalistic, functional and cozy at the same time.
