The 5th edition of Kyiv International Short Film Festival (KISFF), adored by the locals and respected by foreign guests, will be running in Ukrainian capital on April 20-24, 2016.

The festival provides a national and international platform for short films aiming to discover new forms and methods of filmmaking in Ukraine and abroad. It is both national and international meeting place and source of inspiration and new knowledge for professionals, film students and rising talent that promotes film as an attractive cultural leisure pursuit to all possible target groups. Providing an opportunity for artists to exchange ideas while meeting, the festival aims to discover potentials and encouraging directors of all ages to innovate and create. KISFF screens the newest developments, promoting films of quality, both aesthetically and thematically, organizes competitions and presents thematic programs and retrospectives, public talks, workshops and educational program as well as integrates most promising Ukrainian directors and their short films into world festival circuit.
