On May 4th, 2017 the official festival area during Eurovision Song Contest 2017 - Eurovision Village will be officially opened. In Eurovision Village you can see live performances by artists, DJs, special events and public viewing of the shows broadcasted from the Arena.
Eurovision Village is located on Khreshchatyk, the main street of Kyiv. The street has a length of 1.3 km and the street is included in the Top 20 of most expensive shopping streets in Europe.
Here guests will have a chance to enjoy live streams from all the Eurovision 2017 official events. The series of live streams will start on May 7th, 2017 with the live feed from the Red Carpet Opening Ceremony. The Red Carpet will take place on Sunday 7 May 2017 at Mariyinsky Palace that is the official ceremonial residence of the President of Ukraine in Kyiv. At the Red Carpet all the contestants are presented for the press, fans and guests with lots of beautiful dresses, festivities and selfies. On May 09th and 11th, 2017 there will be live streams from semi-finals with the live translation of the Grand Final on May 13th, 2017.

Eurovision Village will be open for everyone from 4 May to 14 May from 12:00 until 22:00. The official opening ceremony of the Eurovision Village will be held on May 4th, 2017 at 7 PM and will offer a diverse and exciting entertaining program.
There will be 2 big screens on the territory of the Eurovision Village. The main screen is located on the main stage at the center of the Eurovision Village offering a high quality sound and visual content. The second screen is housed in from of the food court and allows all the guests to watch live streams of the Eurovision show while enjoying food and drinks.
In addition to the live broadcasts from the Arena, visitors of the Eurovision Village in Kyiv will have a chance to watch a unique light show and enjoy the variety of daily entertainment. The Eurovision Village stage will host live gigs by Eurovision 2017 participants as well as Ukrainians artists and performers.
Eurovision Village in Kyiv occupies the area of 13500 square meters and consists of food court, fan zone area in front of the stage, partners’ area housing sponsors’ booths (Jacobs Coffee, Pepsi and VISA) and stands of the cities which applied for the right to host Eurovision 2017 Song Contest in Ukraine (Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Odesa).
The entrance to the Eurovision Village is free. It’s a good idea to have a valid ID with with you. There will be a separate section with biotoilets for the guests’ convenience. The will be no alcohol available on the territory of the Eurovision Village, except certified beer which can be purchased at the food court. The venue will be under 24/7 police surveillance.
