Only a few days left to Eurovision 2017, the great song contest in Kyiv. The event itself will take place in the International Exhibition Center. Besides that, six fan zones will be located in Kyiv, where guests will have a possibility to watch the contest and to take part in diverse entertainment activities. Eurovision village on Khreshchatyk
The official Eurovision fan zone on Khreshchatyk street near Central Universal Department Store (TSUM) will be open for visitors from 4 till 14 May 2017. Its opening hours are from 12:00 to 22:00 daily and till the end of the show in semi-final and final days. The whole area of this location embraces 13 000 sq. m. The Eurovision competitors and Ukrainian artists will perform here on a large stage. The contest will be broadcasted on four screens located on the fan zone perimeter. Eurovision Village will include information center, lounge zones, food court and souvenir shops.

Eurovision town on Sofiivska square
The second fan zone with total capacity of 10 000 people will open on Sofiyivska square on 30 April 2017. Here visitors will be able to watch Eurovision 2017 on a 120 sq. m screen incorporated into a stage. Short atmospheric video clips about Ukrainian culture, traditions and folk customs will be also shown on the screen. The guests will be welcome to participate in master-classes and to create handmade souvenirs. The list of other enjoyable activities available in Eurovision town on Sofiivska square will include karaoke zone, ice sculptures exhibition and four food courts from well-known restaurants.

“Feel Ukraine” zone on Kontraktova square
“Feel Ukraine” entertainment zone will be located on Kontraktova square. Starting from 30 April 2017, visitors will be offered different master-classes, Ukrainian art exhibitions and performances of diverse artists. Eurovision song contest along with interesting films will be demonstrated on a big screen. Each day in “Feel Ukraine” zone will be dedicated to a particular topic. There will be Jazz day, Masters` day, Ukrainian Literature day, Pictorial Art day and Costumes and Jewelry day.

“Eurovision: Retrospective” zone on Poshtova square
On 30 April the organizers of “Eurovision: Retrospective” entertainment zone will present a karaoke festival, which will help to become familiar with the history of Eurovision contest. The karaoke contest will be held here for everyone interested. Preliminary rounds of this contest are scheduled from 18:00 to 20:00. The finalists will perform for the audience and jury members from 20:00 to 21:00. The professional jury, consisting of famous pop stars, will award the winners of karaoke contest daily at 21:00.

Fan zone on Troyitska square
The large concert scene will be the central point of Eurovision fan zone on Troyitska square near Olympiyskiy sports stadium. The performances of eminent Ukrainian folk and jazz bands along with participants of “X Factor” and “Golos. Deti” vocal shows will take place here. The concerts are scheduled for 30 April and 2, 7, 9 and 14 May at 16:00 and for 12 of May at 19:00. The artists will give autographs and communicate with fans after the show. Along with this, fan zone on Troyitska square will offer kids` zone, various exhibitions and souvenir shops.

“Eurovision History” exhibition in Gulliver center
“Eurovision History” photo exhibition was open in Gulliver shopping and entertainment center on 27 April 2017. This is a unique exhibition, which presents the brightest moments of 60-year history of song contest. Here visitors can find legendary photos of ABBA band being awarded in 1974; pictures of Celine Dion, the winner of 33d Eurovision; photos of famous Genghis Khan band performance; pictures of Ruslana’s “Wild dances”. The whole exposition consists of 45 works, including previously unpublished ones. The exhibition will last till 18 May. From the first days of May it will be shown not only inside, but also will be demonstrated as an installation on Gulliver facade from 20:00 to 22:00.
