At Milan Fashion Week this January Dolce&Gabbana famous Italian fashion house models showed collection to the sound of Morricone soundtracks and brought back memories of Sergio Leone movies.
The fashion house presented a menswear collection in "Sicilian western" style for the next winter. Designers developed the new collection in the style of movies about the Sicilian Mafia and the westerns of Sergio Leone.
Models were dressed in shirts, jackets and bandanas with guns prints, cowboy stars and horseshoes prints. A few coat designs embroidered with gold and rhinestones have been also demonstrated.
Part of the collection is inspired by hot Sicily. Models were dressed in caps, oversize velvet jackets with Sicilian embroidery - rose and the famous "carri siciliani" (carts) as well as in jackets made of natural lamb wool.
