Ryanair, the world famous low-cost airline, is planning to launch flights from Ukraine in 2017!
Furthermore, Ryanair operates over 70 bases across Europe and North Africa, some of which only base a single aircraft. Several non-base airports serve more flights and/or destinations than certain base airports. In 2013, Ryanair was both the largest European airline by scheduled passengers carried and the busiest international airline by passenger numbers.

Recently, the news spread that the popular budget airline is planning to launch flights from Lviv starting from next year. Tatiana Romanova, the CEO of Lviv Airport, has reported that, at the moment, Ryanair is running negotiations with Lviv Airport. We hope that they will be successful! David O'Brien, commercial director of Ryanair, has also confirmed this information. The routes and number of flights are not yet known.

The cost of Ryanair flights to European countries usually starts from EUR 9, and during promotional dates you can even fly for EUR 3. We hope that Ukrainians will soon be able to fly at those prices!
In addition, flights of other European airlines such as Czech Airlines, AirBaltic, Belavia and WizzAir, which suspended cooperation with Lviv Airport due to the crisis, will start again in 2017.
