Premium banking by Credit Agricole: awards, the SOMMELIER package and the premium area – Destinations explores benefits and prospects of premium banking services.

Credit Agricole Bank keeps strengthening its market position in the premium banking business line. Several awards were received by the bank for its premium banking last year. This is an outstanding result considering that the business line was launched just a few years ago.

EXPERT RECOGNITION

Ernst&Young. In the bank experts’ opinion, Credit Agricole Bank reaffirmed its ranking as one of TOP-3 financial institutions for premium customers at the end of 2018. Furthermore, the bank was listed among TOP-5 most popular banks for premium customers, according to the research of Private Banking market completed by the Ernst&Young consultancy. Еuromoney.

The Euromoney magazine highlighted the high standard of service provided to Credit Agricole premium customers according to the global Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey 2019. According to this reputable market review, the bank ranked fourth in the overall rating and first in the Social Impact Investing nomination. Credit Agricole Bank was also named № 4 in Ultra High Net and Super Affluent categories.

FIRST NEW MODEL PREMIUM SERVICE AREA IN UKRAINE

In February, Credit Agricole Bank opened its first new model premium banking service area. It is focused on privacy and comfort. The new premium area is a one-stop shop where customers are offered a full range of banking services. The personal manager will help to find the prompt solution to any issue and open the realm of financial opportunities matching the status of a premium client. High-end interior design will enhance the professional competence of personal managers. The exquisite design and the isolated meeting room altogether make customers feel secure and invite them to consider custom-tailored offers. The first new model premium banking service area was opened in Kharkiv, 50/52 Pushkinska Street.

NEW EXCLUSIVE SOMMELIER PACKAGE

In December 2018, during the traditional New Year event for customers, the bank presented a new product – the SOMMELIER package. It combines financial expertise of Credit Agricole Bank with the mellowness of fine wines. With the package, a customer would first-hand experience distinction of custom-tailored banking service.

Both business and emotional engagement with customers are important for the bank. This engagement underlies the SOMMELIER – a unique product in the premium banking line. Though the SOMMELIER is a kind of a high-profile service package, over 140 customers have chosen this state-of-the-art product in just four months since launching.

PREMIUM BANKING OFFERS GOVERNMENT BONDS

Credit Agricole expands the line of investing tools for premium customers. Since April, the bank offers its premium clients the opportunity to build up a portfolio of government bonds. Available for investment bonds are denominated in both national currency and US dollars. The yield on such securities issued by the government is much more higher if to compare it with deposits.

Exemption from personal income tax, as well as high level of investment reliability are just some of benefits ensured by the instrument. The strength of Credit Agricole Bank in this market is its significant expertise in dealing with government bonds and licenses held for both trading and custody service (securities depositary). It allows to handle the purchase of government bonds and follow-up custody transactions without leaving the bank, or even one meeting room, and without contacting other institutions.
