The chairman of the jury was the People's Artist of Ukraine, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, winner of the World Music Awards, singer, producer, musician, active public figure Ruslana Lyzhychko.
The festival creates and strengthens cultural ties between Ukraine and other countries - it was attended by young talents from Ukraine, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Moldova, Romania, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Turkey, Belarus and Latvia.
This year the festival was held online, the winners from Ukraine received free participation in important international vocal festivals in Montenegro, Albania and Slovenia. Winners from other countries received free participation in the 2220 International Music Festival next year in the usual format.
"I am happy that Ukraine unites peoples - thanks to the festival, different countries present their culture and get to know others, and it happens very quickly and naturally, because music knows no borders," said the main organizer of the festival, Tatiana Kolesnichenko.
Among the members of the festival jury are prominent figures of culture and art from different countries: director of the International music festival FENS in Slovenia Pavle Plahutnik, Montenegrin composer and producer Momcilo Zekovic, Albanian conductor and director of Festivali Mbarekombetar I Kenges per Femje Kujtim Alia, Azerbaijani singer Gochag Askerov, director of the vocal festival in Montenegro "Zlatna Pahulja" Beca Kujevic, Albanian composer and producer Sokol Marsi, opera singer from Turkey Mehmet Alper Kazancioglu, Montenegrin TV star Vladimir Fustic, singer from Kazakhstan Marat Omarov.
The winners of the 2220 International Music festival from Ukraine will be hosted by:
• 59 Mbarekombetar and Kenges per Femije Festivals in Shkodra, Albania (June 2020)
• 27th International FeNS Festival in Koper, Slovenia (June 2021)
• 28th International Festival "Zlatna pahulja" in Rozaje, Montenegro (February 2021)
* If by COVID-19 the festivals are postponed, the winners will take part according to the new dates.
